We started HARD'N'HEAVY because that decision deserves better than a single "alternative" rail at the back of a mall store. Every piece we stock is chosen for one thing: it makes the outside match the inside.

Where it started
HARD'N'HEAVY started with a simple problem: finding proper alternative clothing meant either paying import prices to a shop three countries away, or gambling on a marketplace listing with four blurry photos and a size chart that meant nothing.
We knew the difference between a corset that holds its shape and one that folds after two wears, between boots built on a real platform sole and boots that look the part in a photo.
Today we carry ten of the labels that built this scene — Demonia, New Rock, Punk Rave, Alchemy England and others — alongside our own HARD'N'HEAVY line. We ship from everywhere to almost anywhere in the world, and we still pack orders knowing that for a lot of our customers, this parcel is the outfit for a show, a wedding, a first date, or the day they finally stopped dressing for someone else.
We are not a marketplace and we are not a dropshipping page. We choose every item on this site, and we answer every message ourselves.

Our own line: Hard’n’Heavy
Some things we couldn’t find, so we made them. The HARD’N’HEAVY label is our answer to the pieces the scene keeps asking for and nobody quite gets right — harnesses that fit over a jacket, tees printed on heavier cotton.
We design each piece ourselves, sample it, wear it, and only then put it on the site. No minimum-order guesswork, no print-on-demand catalogue — just the things we wanted in our own wardrobes.
What gets onto the site
Brands, not listings
We buy from established labels and their official distributors. If we can't trace where a piece comes from, it doesn't go in the catalogue.
Hardware you can pull on
Zips, buckles, D-rings, boning and eyelets are the first things to fail on cheap alt clothing — so they're the first things we check.
Checked before it ships
Every order is inspected and packed by hand. Anything with a flaw stays here, not in your parcel.
Sizing that's honest
Alternative brands size differently from high street. Each product page carries the brand's own measurements — and if you're between sizes, message us and we'll tell you which one to take.
