Nettoyage à sec uniquement, ou nettoyage à sec pour le brocart et le velours — ne jamais laver un corset à baleines en machine. Aérez-le après l'avoir porté, rangez-le à plat ou roulé lâchement, et desserrez toujours complètement le laçage avant de le mettre ou de l'enlever.
