Yes — overskirts and half skirts are designed to layer over slim pants or shorts, which is the standard look in gothic, cyberpunk, and rave fashion. Skirt-pants hybrids have this layering built in. Standalone kilts also work on their own in traditional punk style.

Faux leather, crinkled and suede-finish synthetics, cotton twill, and knit panels, with heavy metal hardware — chains, buckles, zippers, rings, and snap accents. Each product page lists materials and skirt length.

Most styles run M–XXL, with several extending to 3XL–4XL. Many use adjustable buckles, lace-up waists, or belts that cover a wide range. Check the waist measurement range in the size chart rather than relying on letter size alone.

The classic formula: kilt over slim black pants or bare legs, combat boots, a fitted or sleeveless top, and one strong accessory like a harness or chained belt. Utility skirts pair naturally with techwear jackets and chunky sneakers.
